What’s a vacation to Mexico without a fresh margarita? The classic margarita has been a local tradition since 1942 and includes tequila, lime juice, natural syrup and triple sec. 

2. Marquesitas

Marquesitas are a beloved local treat and a must try on your next visit to Cancun! These rolled crepes are filled with cheese and a sweet filling of your choice like nutella, jam, peanut butter, cajeta or chocolate. Marquesitas can be found by street vendors throughout Cancun. Watching them be made is part of the fun.

3. Ceviche

Cruise ships do not doc in Cancun. The closest ports of call are Playa De Carmen and Cozumel. Many cruise lines offer short excursions to Cancun.
